It would seem that life is not quite done throwing curve balls at me: Tony ended up in Urgent Care tonight. Looks like a kidney stone, his second time around with them, only this time set into excrutiating pain much faster than the first time 15 or so years ago. Poor guy, a pain shot at Urgent Care helped a lot, and he has vicodin to get him through tonight...tomorrow we call to get a CT scan, and an appointment right after with the Primary Care Physician (Dr. L to those in the know), and then we'll have some idea what the next step is. Consequently, my week this week is going to look very different than I planned for it to look.
*SIGH*
I'll try to keep everyone posted on the results. In the meantime, please keep your fingers crossed that it's a small stone that can be dealt with as painlessly as possible.
On a high note, I did finish projects 3 and 4 of "the bet." They are 3 socks (yes, I said 3), in a beautiful yarn from Creatively Dyed called Luxury. The pair is for me (project 4), and the single is for the shop (project 3). I'm hoping to finish project 5 tonight while I sit up with Tony. I'll let you know! Pictures coming tomorrow.
